Responsibilities
Primary duty is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner
Read, interpret documents (i.e. procedures, schematics/technical drawings, etc.) and use necessary measuring devices/equipment to confirm tooling/fixturing geometries and dimensions

Job Overview The position is to provide preventive, corrective and general maintenance to support and maintain all fielded VTS and SCCCS systems that include electronic equipment and facilities maintenance installed within the New York Coast Guard Sector.
Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities Essential Duties and Job Functions: Provide preventive maintenance services for various electronic systems using provided Maintenance Procedure.
Update Maintenance procedures as needed.
Provide Casualty maintenance for supported electronic systems within a prescribed timeline.
Provide general IT functions in support of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance completion.
Provide general facilities maintenance as required.
Assist in the procurement of required parts and services for maintenance functions.
Assist multiple assignments simultaneously.
Travel to remote sites to conduct Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Attend meetings, provide briefings, and participate in meetings as required by the customer.
Review system/component schematics.
Work within tight deadlines.
Must be able to climb towers.
Adhere to safety and customer worksite policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Mandatory: U.
S.
citizenship.
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools preferred.
Education and USCG/DOD Training may be substituted as follows: Educational Experience: Four (4) plus years of experience working with C4IT/C4ISR Systems.
USCG/DOD Standards Experience: Four (4) years of commercial experience in electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and/or repair.
Must be able to obtain tower climbing certification.
Must be able to drive.
Must be able to obtain IAT Level II SEC + and CE within 6 months.
SECRET Security Clearance.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
