Power Connector's Production Assembler is critical in contributing to the fundamental changes that are transforming Power Connector. This position's primary focus is to assist, contribute, and execute on the team's strategic plans for manufacturing stability and improvement.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the assembly of raw materials
Responsible for the breaking down of raw materials as needed for each product
Responsible for the organization of necessary components to build product
Responsible for assembly of product in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly shipment lists as directed by supervisor.
Capable of manipulating items with weights less than or equal to 30 pounds
Perform general housekeeping in order to maintain an extremely clean and safe environment
Responsible for the safe use of tools that are required during assembly
Upholding quality standards while meeting production quotas
Contributes to a safe, accident-free, working environment by abiding by all safety procedures and policies as defined by the Company and OSHA regulations

Proficient in executing quality control inspection responsibilities:
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required
Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples
Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded
Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status
Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release
Perform visual inspections of finished products
Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems
Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms
Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment
Grade, classify, or sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
1-10 years of previous manufacturing experience
Knowledge
Proficient in using standard assembly tools, such as screwdrivers, drills, and levers
Ability to read drawings, specifications, manuals, etc.

Proficient in using inspection equipment, such as calipers and micrometers

PALFINGER is searching for an Assembler. This position is located in Trenton, NJ. This position reports to the Materials Supervisor. The Assembler manually selecting/picking semi-finished materials and components (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) by hand and via the use of a forklift or other moving equipment, to be kitted & assembled by reviewing the kitting or assembly instructions, blueprints specifications, and parts lists. Will gather parts, kits, subassemblies, use tools, and materials prep products.
Your Responsibilities
* Locating parts, kits and subassemblies by using templates, reading measurements and using a measuring tape.
* Uses computer to view diagrams, lookup parts, scan items and work orders.
* Assembling of components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
* Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; letting the lead-assembler know of shortages..
* Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

Your Qualifications
