* Must be proficient with the use of small hand tools
* Perform measurement verification with all relevant Quality equipment
* Cross-train on PW-II and PW-I job duties in the PHX department.

Job Details
The Upholstery Assembler prepares upholstery parts for seats and other upholstered items, including tacking and attaching the vinyl covers (skins) onto proper parts before they are installed in our award-winning boats.
Key Responsibilities
Use a screw gun to install bolts into pre-drilled holes and tighten them down.
Inspect skins for defects and trim excess threads and vinyl.
Places skins over parts and aligns stripes.
Pulls vinyl tight over part and staples around edges, ensuring that edges and stripes stay aligned.
Finish with screen and hem when necessary.
Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards.
Qualifications
Ability to use hand tools, including foam knives, razor knives, hole saws, scissors, heat and staple guns, and steamer.
Must be able to understand instructional materials and work-related documents and follow directions.
Must have good hand-eye coordination.

The incumbent must have knowledge of, and skill in using the tools, equipment, machinery, manuals and drawings to perform the tasks as outlined for the position. The incumbent must be familiar with and have general skills in all facets of the manufacturing and assembly of office furniture and related products, and the operation of all types of machinery and tools related to the measurements, construction, assembly, upholstering, inspection, and finishing of such products. Additionally, he/she must have a good working knowledge of equipment assembly, installation and repair.
