As a Production Worker at our Bakeshop food manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for producing, assembling, and packaging the bakeshop products that stock our stores for our customers to enjoy, using equipment and machinery as necessary for the job. What will I do?
Produce, assemble and package products, operating machinery and equipment as necessary for the job
Inform team members of actions completed by properly labeling all containers and carts, filling out log sheets, and completing tasks on batch cards
Perform quality checks and properly handle products to ensure they meet Wegmans food safety and quality standards
Practice food and human safety techniques, comply with equipment maintenance, and use guidelines and labor laws to safely complete work, and maintain a clean work environment
Keep open lines of communication with management and coworkers to effectively resolve issues and keep the operation running smoothly
Work may include use of proper sanitation practices, including cleaning and sanitizing the production equipment, floors and machinery

Utilizes torches and plastic body filler to straighten and repair sheet metal punctures. Applies adhesives to gaskets and grommets.

Understand basic Vantage system for time reporting purposes.

ASSEMBLER
Assembler Job 15 miles from Victor
Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Assembler is responsible for operating air guns, air drivers, hand tools, power tools, and the pallet jack.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assembly - Assembles product according to project specifications. Heli-coil installation, pins, part marking.
Packaging - Assists Shipping and Receiving with preparing the product for delivery.
Visual Inspection - Visually inspects parts and assembled pieces for defects and touches up paint finish as needed.
Moving Parts - Move parts from station to station.
Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $18.00 - $22.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
