Sonic Welding requires assembly and welding of injection molding and or purchased components into semi-finished products in accordance with established Quality Assurance policies and procedures. Maintenance required preventing and resolving machine jams and other related malfunctions. Automated / Semi Automated machine operation requires maintenance to prevent and resolve machine malfunctions. Feed machine components as needed to prevent down time Who you are Must be willing and able to take an active role in plant wide safety activities Basic knowledge of the principals of injection molding Basic knowledge of the functions of equipment used in Assembly Dept. Basic knowledge of the function of all products assembled. Basic knowledge of all Hunter Douglas standard injection molded product defects. Solid knowledge of interpersonal skills in communicating with many different people. Solid knowledge of basic mathematics to read measuring devices such as calipers and performs basic addition, subtraction of whole numbers and fractions Ability to understand and follow written operational procedures to safely and efficiently perform essential functions required. Acceptable training and experience includes high school diploma or equivalent. Solid knowledge of assembly prints, criteria, other quality tools Proficient operation of multiple types of powered industrial trucks is a requirement Solid ability to motivate and train other people in department Solid ability to spot and eliminate quality issues from own and others work Computer skills needed include MII, Excel, Access, Word, and Google Mail All other duties as assigned What's in it for you?
