Proper glass handling techniques and minimal quality glass inspection a must. 12hr Shifts Available: Days 5:45am - 6:15pm ($20.00/hr.) Nights 5:45pm - 6:15am ($22.00/hr.) Essential Job Functions Near perfect attendance Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects Place glass in correct Customer positions into bungees, harps and squeeze racks Should be able to accurately reject glass from bungees and squeeze racks Properly close finished orders Must be able to properly edge delete glass without causing Quality issues Read and fill out proper unload paperwork (run list, packing maps) Should be able to set up customer orders properly Communicate with the Q.A and furnace operator in regards to quality or breakage issues Never allow the line to get backed up with glass Must possess a high sense of urgency Competitive wages plus SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL. Position Overview: An Assembler reads and interprets schematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electronic components according to product specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble, inspect, and test precision semiconductor assemblies and raw components as instructed. * Follow documented procedures and provide immediate feedback when there is uncertainty. * Meeting daily production rate and communicating production output. Addresses issues immediately when production is at risk. * Verifies dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. * Assures calibrated equipment is being used as required and notifies the appropriate Engineer if it is not. * Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. * Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Key Competencies & Skills Required: * Experience in hand soldering, manually placing small parts or components onto an electrical assembly. * Wire bonding experience is a plus. * Familiar with following travelers and standard operating procedures and follows basics of assembly drawings under direct supervision. * Experience using microscopes to inspect products and ensure the highest standard of quality. You will assemble, recondition and test components and devices associated with our industrial vending, bin systems and other FMI technology devices. You will be responsible for printing, inspecting, applying and scanning labels and assisting with ordering, stocking, picking and shipping inventory.
