The Assembly Operator Technician III position is an important role on the Silgan Dispensing team and is a great opportunity for those looking to advance their skills. The Assembly Operator Technician III keeps our equipment operational by setting up, optimizing production runs and performing quality checks as needed for each machine. Here's a list of duties that our Assembly Operator Technician III performs on a typical day:
Responsible for the safe, efficient completion of the assembly process in a high quality and repeatable manner
Perform duties to complete a wide variety of complicated machine set ups (such as dip tube changes, mechanical parts change)
Perform quality checks/audits during a production run through visual inspection and aligned with the quality plan
Measure, examine and test assembly units to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance conditions. Adjust machine or fixtures as necessary.
Perform preventive maintenance on Assembly machines to maintain production equipment and reduce downtime.
Identify efficiency improvement, cost savings and quality improvement opportunities.
Participate in EH&S reviews
Assist with CI activities as needed: root cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results and production results
Ensure outgoing products follow required specifications
Escalates identified safety, quality, performance issues as may be needed.
Training and supporting of others within the value stream.
Supports machine disassembly

Follow and install all the safety requirements of the system.
Modifying component according to engineering request. Drill and tap holes, cutting slots, cutting parts, opening holes, grinding surfaces, rewire and change electrical components.
Report issues to the supervisor, engineering and quality team.
Test and adjusts mechanical and electrical assemblies following the assembly instructions and check lists.
Run the equipment and help with the FAT (Final Acceptance Test).
Collaborate with the service department. Help install the equipment on the customer site.
Following the project schedule and keeping truck of the production order schedule. Reporting the issues to the schedule to the supervisor.
Accurate control of inventory using production orders. Collaborate with inventory for maintaining all needed parts for the project.

Job Description
The Bicycle Building position will assemble all bicycle sold at our retail locations. As new bicycles arrive at the store, the builder would be responsible for maintaining assembly schedules and quality inspections. A fast learning and excited individual would aid in proper inventory management to ensure that the sales staff was supplied accurate information regarding currently built product.
Position Responsibilities
Learn the proper Point of Sale practices that relate to bicycle building.
Work directly with Service Managers to develop quality bicycle builds and expectations.
Efficiently complete daily work schedules and tasks.
