We are currently looking for a Sr. Production Assembler, 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, Starting Pay based on Experience: $20 - $24/HR to join our VALUES based organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Lays out, routes, and ties wire to panels by using wiring bundles, bundle holders, clips, and bushings and other protectors with hand tools. Positions, aligns, and adjusts wires and components to facilitate wiring and assembly of product. Attach wire labels. Drills, taps, reams, countersinks using drill presses and portable power drills. Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. * 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading Core Competencies: * Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures. * Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. * Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job; including, but not limited to, power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices. * Ability to identify routine problem causation, and correct routine problems, and willingness to learn. * Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions. * Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others. * Must possess ability to work well in a manufacturing environment. * Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment. * Tasks can include but are not limited to: brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, hanging and unhanging parts, and performing quality checks and tests. Preferences: * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. * Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding. * Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business process. * Familiar with and can utilize power tools. * Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
