Supporting the design and development of on-demand publications, digital graphic designs, and other relevant media Design graphics for conferences, forums, public displays, and promotional and marketing materials Design content for signage systems, digital advertising boards, digital message tickler boards, and Lucite holders to display hardcopy content Design publications, brochures, corporate identity collateral including logos and seals, coin design, presentation templates, exhibits, displays, posters and wall graphics, infographics, interactive pdf's, presentations, and motion graphics Design graphic elements for use in video production in coordination with videographers Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Poly Bachelor's degree and 5 to 20 years related experience Demonstrated proficiency using cameras and related peripherals and experience in video recording Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver), CorelDRAW, and Microsoft Publisher, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, open source or proprietary production tools, content management systems, SharePoint, MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio Some experience with or knowledge of video production (e.g., Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro) Creative portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory Experience with conceptualizing, designing, and creating highly effective graphics Excellent visual design and communication skills Up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies What's in It for You? Salary: Up to $70K, depending on education and experience Security Requirements: TS/SCI with CI Poly (both active). Education: Minimum of bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or a related discipline. Certifications: None Experience (Five Years Required): • Provides graphic arts development and support for a high tempo combatant command military operations directorate. • Plans and designs the production of graphics used in instructional aids, exhibits, and multi-image presentations. • Prepares and oversees the preparation of original designs, drawings, graphs, charts,models, publications, and exhibits for internal and external presentation by senior leaders and general/flag officers. • Consults and advises customers' staff regarding graphic projects requiring artist input. • Creates and visualizes ideas graphically for documents, publications, and web sites. • Provides end-users with recommendations and in-depth graphic artist support for the development of documents, briefings, and websites with no guidance. • Revises subject matter for graphic presentation to achieve customer intent selecting materials, processes, and designs format with no guidance. • Reviews layouts, sketches, and final plans for production and evaluates artistic media. • Consults with and advises customers concerning pending graphics, publications, and artwork, including cost estimates and artwork content. • Determines requirements for publication artwork, including selection of ink, paper, and type style in conjunction with publication customers. • Coordinates production workflow of publications (periodicals, brochures, and manuscripts).

There are two small projects that require 3D drawings to be developed from paper sketches that have been saved as .jpg files. 1. Wind Chime 2. Medical Supply The wind chime will be completed first, followed by the medical supply, if appropriate. These are works for hire with all copyrights and other intellectual property rights belonging solely to the company. An non-disclosure agreement will be necessary for the medical supply design. The estimated time to complete the wind chime is 3 hours. The estimated time to complete the medical supply drawing is 5 hours.
