Salary Range
Lighting Artist - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $55,000 - $140,000 per year.

We are looking for a Principal Lighting Artist to join our growing team and help craft Echtra's next AAA PC and Console ARPG. As Senior Technical Artist, you will…
* Work closely with the Visual development lead to prototype the look of new graphic features (such as shaders, VFX tech, lighting tech, etc..)
* Audit, troubleshoot and validate existing and future rendering tech.
* Collaborate closely with graphic engineers to ensure the prototypes are achievable in term of quality and performance.
* Interact with art department leads (Character, World Art, etc...) in order to identify their shaders needs for content creation.
* Report to the tech art lead and collaborate with other tech artists.
* Develop and communicate technical art standards, best practices, and techniques.
* Troubleshoot and address performance issues in the game pertaining to Shaders, Materials, Textures.

Qualifications

* You have 3+ years' experience in the video game industry in a similar role.
* You have in-depth knowledge of PBR tech and workflows.

Salary Range
Senior Technical Artist - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 - $165,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location.
