Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in the wastewater industry, with extensive knowledge of biosolids treatment technologies, disposal methods, and regulations and proficiency in data analysis and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 15 years of experience in the wastewater industry, with extensive knowledge of biosolids treatment technologies, disposal methods, and regulations and proficiency in data analysis and optimization. Established as a thought leader in the biosolids space, with experience in large wastewater associations, utilities, or related organizations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Professional Surveyor/Survey Manager to join our team in Columbus or Cincinnati OH In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your survey and management skills and experience working in a collaborative team environment supporting survey and engineering projects and staff by performing and leading a team to complete survey related calculations, produce survey plats and other legal instruments and prepare design/topographic base maps. Additional tasks include deed research, write legal descriptions, and process survey data collected from our field teams. The role is a Hybrid position with 3 days a week in office. This position is responsible for receiving and evaluating survey assignments, processing, and evaluating field data and CAD preparation of final mapping. Role description: The Mobility Group of Arcadis is seeking an Architectural Historian to join our growing Cultural Resources group in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate for this position will apply their knowledge and experience on transportation and infrastructure projects and will be responsible for preparation of environmental documents in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). This is a remote position within the state of Georgia. Role accountabilities: Support the multi-discipline Atlanta Mobility Environmental Group Conduct historic resources field surveys (day trips and some overnight trips) Conduct background research on historic resources using a variety of primary and secondary sources Evaluate historic resources for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in accordance with Section 106 of the NHPA, the Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA), and other relevant laws and regulations Assess project-related effects to historic resources, including working with engineering professionals and overall project team to avoid or minimize impacts in accordance with Section 106 and/or GEPA Prepare technical reports for distribution to state and federal agencies, including creating project and resource maps in ArcPro Maintain internal and external delivery schedules for all assigned projects, prioritized by project baseline schedule dates Provide project status updates at meetings and serve as the point of contact for historic resources Projects will generally be in Georgia but could also be outside of the state, as needed Adherence to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards. Role description: Our growing Design Team in the Akron, OH office is seeking a Staff Civil/ Process Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our Water Business Line. Arcadis serves many clients and project types in many market sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated design engineer to join our team locally. The Civil/ Process Mechanical Engineer will use their experience and knowledge of water/wastewater/recycled water projects, design and construction engineering, and client service to successfully execute projects within the local municipal water/ wastewater market. Role accountabilities: Provide technical expertise to our team of engineers. Design and construction support for water/wastewater treatment plants, storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations. Assist in creation of construction documents and specifications. Meet established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope, schedule, and budget. Engage with clients to support needs and provide solutions. Coordinate execution of projects with other engineering disciplines and office personnel. Develop design projects from inception to completion. Prepare construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of water/wastewater systems for clients. Create cost estimates and project schedules. Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis and use design software to solve complex challenges. Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff. Use Arcadis standards and specifications for water/wastewater design and construction projects. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field of study. Minimum of 4 years of experience in water/wastewater/recycled water facilities design and construction support. Key Skills and Attributes: Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills. Excellent technical writing skills. Experience preparing and reviewing project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Client relationship skills are a plus. Functional experience with MS Office applications. Preferred Qualifications: Current PE License in Ohio, or ability to obtain within one year of hire. Task Lead, Task Manager, or Design Lead experience on water/wastewater projects of various sizes.
