Why do you want to work in supply chain management?
I want to work in supply chain management because it offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of how global business operates, as you handle dealing with complex challenges and making strategic decisions that impact the entire organization.
Supply chain management is a dynamic field that demands problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of how different parts of a business interact. It's about coordinating and optimizing all the steps needed to create a product or service, from sourcing raw materials to delivering the final product to customers. I'm drawn to this complexity and the challenge of making everything work together efficiently.
Additionally, working in supply chain management allows for a broad overview of the business. You do not focus on one narrow area; instead, you have to understand how all the pieces fit together.
