No guaranteed pay, no holiday pay, bounce pay horrible, no transparency on actual pay for loads. No guarantee of getting home.

Pros of working at TMC Transportation

I'm a 6 year driver with tmc. My 1st year I made $48k. Now, nearly $90k so people who claim no raises aren't truthful. I am now fully vested in the ESOP program. Last year alone, TMC paid an additional .30 cpm into a retirement account separately from 401k. That's $36k. They also employee match the 401k. They provide health, vision, dental insurance plan for a reasonable cost deducted from your check. My wife says our insurance is very good so I'll take her word for it. As a driver, u can go home every weekend if u want. If you have pressing issues, they will get you home. Excellent equipment. Well maintained via mechanics. Great road support system. It's a great company to work for as long as you work safely and follow their rules.

No major complaints. I wish they would offer a 3rd week vaca for drivers with 5 years company experience.

Male-dominated. Old school thinking, outdated policies, computer programs and overall mentality. Won't allow working remote. Very limited PTO. No career development.

Raises, non existent. Bonuses non existent 401 K penny's on the dollar match / a joke. A Cheap Stingy company to work for
