Position Overview:
Product Analysts are responsible for analysis to support the growth and profitability of our products and services. The Product Analyst will evaluate strategic opportunities related to current and future product offerings and business unit operations. With guidance from management, this position conducts industry research and analysis regarding new and existing products and will recommend and implement new pricing and product design strategies required to develop new products, project future results, or reprice existing products. Similar analysis will be done related to Grange business unit operations in order to refine current processes, develop beneficial insights, and improve unit efficiency.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree or four additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
1-2 years of product/data analysis experience required.
Some experience with insurance contracts, product pricing, and how state regulations impact the business.
Knowledge of standard industry personal lines, commercial and farm insurance lines of business and underwriting practices.
Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Statistics, Math/financial/quantitative skills.
