Akkodis is recruiting for 5 Medical Device Quality Complaints Analysts in Skaneateles, NY. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for investigation, review, and completion of all Quality Engineering complaint issue analysis tasks utilizing various quality system inputs. Review individual complaints and associated service data to determine risk level and complete investigation into the as determined problem code and cause codes for each complaint. The hourly rate for this Medical Quality Support Analyst role is $22 - $28/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Required Skills and abilities for the Medical Device Quality Complaints Analyst role include: Medical Device Experience with knowledge of 21CFR820 preferred. • Investigational research skills • Experience with any statistical software packages (Minitab a plus) • Desired experience in the medical device industry in the development and deployment of Quality Systems, and process controls, and continuous improvement methods. • Knowledge and working application of FDA cGMP; ANSI/ISO/ASQC requirements; CMDAS (optional). • Demonstrated strong analytical problem solving (Root Cause Investigations). • Computer competency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Minitab, Access and databases. The Infection Prevention Data Analyst will be the point of contact for the Electronic Hand Hygiene Monitoring System (EHHMS). Duties will include monitoring reports for daily hardware device failure and managing the badges for new employees and lost badges. Troubleshoots device errors that are affecting data capture of staff using the EHHMS. Creates reports for end users, and collaborates with the vendor to keep the system operating at optimal levels at all times. Makes decisions regarding the placement of devices in order to properly capture data related to hand hygiene throughout the hospital. Manages the disconnected device report (DDR), a daily report of devices that are unplugged or not working as described. Provides feedback of data results to quality officers, medical staff, nursing members, etc. in regard to hand hygiene. Incumbent will develop action plans for departments with low rates for hand hygiene. This includes coaching on hand hygiene, determining process improvements and reviewing Swipe Sense locations in department to determine if additional devices should be added. The Infection Prevention Data Analyst will follow up with low performing departments, discuss challenges they face and how to improve. Monitors low performing departments and reeducates as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Associates and three years of healthcare related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience uploading and downloading reports, creating custom reports, submitting monthly summaries, and validating data required. Data management and excellent customer service skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office suite required. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electronic hand hygiene monitoring systems, including database management and hardware replacement preferred. Environment & Release Manager Responsibilities Environment Responsibilities - Obtain Data Courier Administrator certification o Administer data courier for all UHS environments Build and maintain DC interfaces Maintain DC environment security and lock/unlock items as needed o Primary point of contact for Epic related to environment downtimes / maintenance o Liaison between Epic and UHS Epic team for maintenance. Keep the greater UHS Epic team informed of impending environment maintenance / downtime o Attend all Epic maintenance calls (many after hours) for PRD pauses and downtimes o Provide light DC training to UHS users as needed - Update, maintain, monitor, and ensure that the UHS Epic Change Control process is followed o Run ECAB meetings twice per week o Keep SharePoint ECAB form(s) updated Business Continuity Access Responsibilities- could train on this - Owns UHS Epic BCA tools o Run quarterly Epic BCA downtime drills o Compile and submit annual Epic BCA Audit details o Run monthly UHS DC internal audits o Facilitate BCA PC changes or additions via Ivanti tickets and coordinating with Epic analysts o Monitor BCA PC's via System Pulse to proactively identify various problems that need to be addressed o Train operational staff on BCA tools and/or concepts as requested Security Responsibilities - When free from Environment / BCA responsibilities, assist the UHS Epic Security team o Obtain Epic Security certification o Monitor and work the UHS Epic Security Ivanti queues o Participate in the UHS Epic Security on-call rotation Third Party Responsibilities - Be the “boots on the ground” to assist with Technology Team supported 3rd party clinical devices as needed (can be off hours) The ideal candidate will live locally to UHS properties to be able to solve onsite trouble shooting issues. #IND1 Education/Experience Minimum Required: Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience OR Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields) License/Certification Minimum Required: For Epic roles: Current Epic certification(s) OR Willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.
