The Job at a Glance
The Product Data Analyst (Internally known as the Product Data Wizard) will be responsible for taking a lead role in our product data initiatives related to the Parts Town Marketplace. This includes adding and updating all product data such as, images, digital media, category landing pages and categorization of information that supports the Parts Town Marketplace. Examples of projects include working directly with Marketplace sellers to obtain content about new categories being added into the marketplace such as product descriptions, images, product specs, manuals, etc. which will enhance the unique search functionality of the Parts Town website, mobile app, and mobile-optimized website as well as improves organic search ranking. Competitive research and analysis of Marketplaces is a must!
A Typical Day
Partner with the Marketplace Onboarding Manager as well as Marketplace sellers to collect product content specific to the seller's product categories
Analyze collected data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy before loading onto our website as well as our ERP
Develop a process to ensure that collected product data from multiple sellers for the same offer is accurate as well as differentiating.
Establish and maintain an ongoing data analysis to ensure product content is currently up to date regards to product descriptions, images and other product content
Maintain a relationship with the Red Lightning Digital analyst to develop and track the effectiveness of any product data that is loaded onto our website
Analyze other marketplace competitors and provide suggestions on optimizations or additions to our product data strategy.
Continually manage replacement or obsolescence items
Work on our product image strategy which can include optimizing seller provided images, working with photographers, etc.
Utilize numerous ecommerce tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Hybris, etc.

* Manage procurement database in 3P for upcoming and ongoing hydro procurements.
* Manage suppliers working with Avangrid, including setting up new vendors as needed.
* Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
* Coordinate with Project Schedulers and Project Managers to manage new and ongoing procurements and provide target procurement milestones as related to the project schedules.
* Coordinate with the Document Controller to make sure all appropriate project procurement documents are stored in the document control database.
* Verify availability of project funds as related to current and future purchases.
* Must be able to make field visits on occasion.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain and/or Procurement experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and / or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
* SAP and Ariba iBuy experience.
* Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, Transmission & Distribution, Gas-Hydro and OSG.
