Assists with escalated potential OFAC matches and escalated potential 314a matches from internal partners.

Reports to: Cybersecurity Operations Manager
Status: Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for security incident investigation and response lifecycle. Junior Analysts will use our suite of security tools for thorough investigations of incidents that are generated on our ServiceNow platform. This role will be working remotely as part of a Security Operations Center focused on analyzing attacker behavior and methodologies. Junior Analysts will look for anomalies and search for data breaches. When suspicious behavior is detected, it will be researched, verified, and documented. Incidents are then communicated to the stakeholder and directions are provided on remediation for the Junior Analyst.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
Responsible for security incident investigation and response lifecycle.
Create and distribute incident reports to clients according to Standard Operating Procedure and Service Level Agreement
Correspond with clients regarding incident reports according to Standard Operating Procedure and Service Level Agreement
Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
Remedy the detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high security standard.
Document information necessary for future investigations in knowledge base
Collaborate and generate documentation for transfer knowledge with other analysts on duty to effectively resolve security breaches.
Performs other duties as required.
COMPETENCIES
Basic knowledge of core networking and cybersecurity threats and terminology.
A desire to gain experience in Cybersecurity while following a continuous learning program.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to explain and articulate basic security concepts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications could Include but is not limited to:
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of prior work experience in cyber security
Experience working in some form of computers is a plus.
Professional experience with SIEM and IDS/IPS.
Security knowledge specifically in incident detection, investigation, and response.
Experience with cyber security software such as Rapid7 InsightIDR, Azure Sentinel or a combination preferred.
CompTIA A+, Security+ or equivalent experience required, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and other relevant certifications are a plus.

Analyst/Associate - SMA Solutions Group
The Analyst or Associate will act as a liaison between US GWM Sales/Clients and PIMCO Portfolio Management/Portfolio Analysis Groups to address client questions on their SMA portfolios, provide solutions to requests, and support the expansion of the SMA platform.
The Analyst or Associate will be a key contributor to SMA platform growth, as their analytical and technical expertise supports our SMA client portfolios. The Analyst or Associate day to day functional role will be based upon a strong foundation in fixed income fundamental knowledge (particularly Treasury, Municipal, Corporate, and Mortgage-Backed Securities) and PIMCO's Separately Managed Account platform/strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The breadth and diversity of the analytical responsibilities in this role requires motivated team members who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful professionals should be able to complete complex tasks in a timely manner, while managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Examples of such tasks and assignments include the following:

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 72,000.00 - $ 88,000.00
