Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Software Manager to lead and inspire a talented team of software engineers. As a key member of the engineering organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring team alignment with product objectives, priorities, and risk management. You may serve as a technical liaison between the development teams and product owners, provide leadership in team management, architecture, and project execution. Encourage knowledge sharing within the team through technical discussions, documentation, and training sessions. Assist in hiring and onboarding new engineers, ensuring a smooth transition into the team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in the field of software engineering 5+ years of experience in software engineering management Experience managing software teams, preferably in an Agile environment. Strong technical background, including experience in software development, architecture, and system operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage on-call rotation program and implement strategies for system reliability and incident management. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based infrastructures, DevOps practices, and automation tools. Familiarity with remote sensing, IoT, or geospatial data processing technologies. Experience scaling software teams and working in fast-paced product development environments. Certified ScrumMaster or equivalent Agile leadership training. Additional Information: This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and skills. This role may require occasional travel.
