Job Summary: The Senior Shift Lead is a key holder and leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility during assigned shifts. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring that all operational procedures are followed. The Senior Shift Lead serves as a role model for team members, providing guidance, support, and motivation to uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism at Drive Custom Fit. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily gym operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and staff. Supervise and support front desk and training staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Provide leadership and training to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Meet and greet prospective and current members, ensuring a positive first impression and ongoing engagement. Assist in managing membership sales, including meeting new potential members, providing facility tours, and upselling additional services to meet revenue goals. Handle member inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Monitor facility cleanliness and equipment maintenance, addressing any issues promptly. Coordinate and communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth shift transitions and operational continuity. Assist in scheduling, shift coverage, and payroll reporting as needed. Uphold and enforce all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for any issues that arise during assigned shifts. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a fitness, hospitality, retail or customer service setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Sales experience (1 year preferred) and a passion for fitness and wellness. Ability to handle conflict resolution and customer service challenges effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment, we will certify.)
