Job Purpose
The Cart/Range/Bag Attendant is Responsible for giving the highest level of guest service while helping to maintain the quality of our daily golf operation. Cart/Range/Bag Attendants serve members and guests by maintaining golf cart and range conditions and attending to golf bags
Responsibilities
* Acknowledge and greet all members and guests, provide instruction on proper cart handling and loading of clubs onto golf carts as needed
* Maintain golf cart fleet by performing duties including: washing or detailing the carts daily, stocking cart amenities (pencils, scorecards, tees, cooler, etc.), removing trash after each use, ensuring proper fuel or power to carts, inspecting each cart for mechanical problems as it is to be taken out, counting and securing all carts at closing, reporting all mechanical problems (including brakes, tires, bag straps, steering, etc.) to a supervisor
* Maintain the range in proper condition by performing duties including: ensuring an adequate level of range balls, collecting, cleaning or delivering balls, rotation of mats, ensuring functioning of lighting equipment, tee alignment, maintaining clean water in club cleaner and ball washer, trash removal, ensuring proper fuel and oil levels for tractor, greasing fittings, perimeter Golf ball picking, culling of cracked or damaged range balls
* Provide customer service by fielding member or guest concerns and directing them to a supervisor
* Perform routine maintenance on carts such as: changing flat tires, changing spark plugs, etc
* Perform routine maintenance on range environment such as: changing or filling water in coolers on the course, emptying trash cans in work area, parking lot and clubhouse
* Ensure continuity of customer service by training other cart attendants as requested
* Implement and support all American Golf initiatives and programs as requested by management
* Other duties may be assigned by management

Job Purpose
The Landscape Gardener is responsible for maintaining the appearance of clubhouse grounds and surrounding areas by planning and managing landscape features. Landscape Gardeners work as part of a team to physically perform garden labor, including operating equipment and transporting work materials/equipment throughout course grounds.
Compensation
* Status: Part-time (approx 25 hrs/week)
* Compensation: $16.50-17.50/hour
Responsibilities
* Plan and design landscape features and flowerbeds throughout the grounds using CAD software
* Install and maintain landscape features using appropriate fertilization, irrigation and mowing techniques
* Operate and maintain irrigation, mowing, fertilizer and chemical application equipment following company safety standards and manufacturer's recommendations
* Observe and report to manager any potential agronomic and maintenance equipment problem issues
* Maintain appearance of grounds by removing trash and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, and entrance road
* Help Superintendent manage landscape gardening staff by assisting with recruiting, selection, training, scheduling, and evaluation activities. May administer corrective action discipline in accordance with company policies
* Oversee the work of other co-workers of some projects
* Maintain good working relationships with co-workers
* Implement and support all AGC initiatives and programs as requested by management

Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Assist Club management staff with recruitment, selection and orientation of new staff members. Administers payroll records and assure that all applicable federal, state and local wage and hour, worker's compensation and related laws are consistently complied with. Implement data collection systems and process and record wage and salary payments. Manage the club health, retirement and other benefits programs. Conduct labor analyses, staff planning and other studies as requested.
Responsible for the correct installation, support, maintenance and operation of the club's hardware and software.
$28 - $31 per hour
TASKS AND DUTIES
Manages the club's personnel program; assists in the development and implementation of applicable policies and procedures; processes various labor staffing reports; coordinates software applications to generate required information.
Develops and places recruitment ads; plans recruitment strategies; screens applicants and makes hiring recommendations.
Conducts and reviews wage and benefit surveys; proposes employee benefits enhancements to the General Manager.
Coordinates the development and publication of the employee newsletter.
Coordinates all employee record keeping functions.
Continually reviews and assists in updating the employee handbook and personnel-related policies; assists in the management of the club's progressive discipline program; maintains club policy manual.
Manages the club's group insurance, unemployment and related benefits programs; communicates benefits information to staff.
Undertakes special projects relating to job description and specification updates, performance appraisal improvements, wage and salary comparison surveys, long-range staff planning and other personnel issues.
Keeps abreast of laws and regulation relating to employees; assures compliance with these laws and regulations; advises club managers as necessary.
Advises line managers about discipline, discharge and related employee matters.
Provides general property orientation for new employees; assists in the development and implementation of inter-department orientation and training programs.
Develops forecasts of short and long term staffing needs
Coordinates transfer, promotion and layoff strategies within the club.
Administers the club's formal labor relations program with unionized employees
Creates and maintains organization charts
Benchmarks the club's employee recruitment and selection processes with others in the industry and employers new strategies as appropriate.
Establishes employee motivation and retention programs.
Organizes employee activities such as the holiday party and other outings as appropriate.
Organizes employee recognition functions.
Oversees all work-related injury claims to ensure integrity, on-going case management and reporting compliance.
Performs special projects as assigned by the general manager.
Conducts preliminary employment interview with employee applicants.
Maintains OSHA related logs and reports
Coordinates monitors and suggests improvements for the club's employee performance appraisal system.
Maintains employee bulletin boards.
Chairs Club's safety committee
Interacts with general manager and department heads to investigate employee violations of club policies and to recommend correction actions, if necessary.
Attends meetings as appropriate.
Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Director of Administration and Finance.

Job Purpose
The Cart/Range/Bag Attendant is Responsible for giving the highest level of guest service while helping to maintain the quality of our daily golf operation. Cart/Range/Bag Attendants serve members and guests by maintaining golf cart and range conditions and attending to golf bags
Responsibilities
* Acknowledge and greet all members and guests, provide instruction on proper cart handling and loading of clubs onto golf carts as needed
* Maintain golf cart fleet by performing duties including: washing or detailing the carts daily, stocking cart amenities (pencils, scorecards, tees, cooler, etc.), removing trash after each use, ensuring proper fuel or power to carts, inspecting each cart for mechanical problems as it is to be taken out, counting and securing all carts at closing, reporting all mechanical problems (including brakes, tires, bag straps, steering, etc.) to a supervisor
* Maintain the range in proper condition by performing duties including: ensuring an adequate level of range balls, collecting, cleaning or delivering balls, rotation of mats, ensuring functioning of lighting equipment, tee alignment, maintaining clean water in club cleaner and ball washer, trash removal, ensuring proper fuel and oil levels for tractor, greasing fittings, perimeter Golf ball picking, culling of cracked or damaged range balls
* Provide customer service by fielding member or guest concerns and directing them to a supervisor
* Perform routine maintenance on carts such as: changing flat tires, changing spark plugs, etc
* Perform routine maintenance on range environment such as: changing or filling water in coolers on the course, emptying trash cans in work area, parking lot and clubhouse
* Ensure continuity of customer service by training other cart attendants as requested
* Implement and support all American Golf initiatives and programs as requested by management
* Other duties may be assigned by management

Qualifications
* The ability to operate the following equipment: golf cart, golf ball picker, ball washer, ball dispenser, pressure washer and golf cart jack
* Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills are required for this position
* Valid driver's license required
* Education in golf or related field is preferred.
