GoodVets facilitates the veterinarian entrepreneurship journey by partnering with talented, experienced DVMs to bring GoodVets to their home city or region. Our veterinarian co-owners, located in cities nationwide-including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Denver-buy equity ownership into each hospital they co-found. As owners, they lead their own team of associate veterinarians and support staff and practice high-quality medicine with full medical and cultural autonomy. The GoodVets Student Ambassador will be responsible for increasing brand awareness for GoodVets at the campus level through virtual and in-person events, identifying personal and professional development opportunities where GoodVets can be of service in the development of students, acting as a representative at career fairs and facilitating introductions between students and the GoodVets team! This role is an amazing opportunity to be an advocate for your colleagues and peers and leverage the time, talents, and treasures GoodVets can invest in the next generation of DVM leaders. As a GoodVets Student Ambassador, you have the unique (and rare) opportunity to sit on a student advisory board dedicated to enhancing the lives of current students, new graduates, and the practice of medicine on an industry level! Our Student Ambassadors will bring a new perspective to the team by sharing the needs of the modern student and new graduate veterinarian and have the opportunity to network and ideate with peers from across the country In addition to sitting on our Student Advisory Board (SAB), you will be responsible for increasing brand awareness for GoodVets at the campus level through virtual and in-person events, acting as a representative at career fairs, and facilitating introductions between students and the GoodVets team! As a Student Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to meet 1:1 as often as monthly with a mentor DVM assigned to you to help you with your own personal and professional development. Identify initiatives, events and opportunities needed on their campus and advocate for GoodVets as a solution to these challenges or opportunities In partnership with GoodVets' student team, host 1 GoodVets-organized event or professional development opportunity per semester Deliver branding opportunities for GoodVets locally Attend quarterly advisory board meeting As a student advisor for GoodVets, you have the unique ability to not only benefit from financial incentives but also professional incentives: $2000 per Semester Stipend $500 Student Project Fund per Semester The Student Ambassador may pitch and plan additional events, unique swag items, or other campus involvement ideas for up to $500 per semester.
