Position Summary The Director of HR reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for coordinating the full array of human resource activities and overseeing the strategic plan of Tellurian. In this role you will lead and encourage employees to maximize performance, ensure quality of program operations, inspire staff and strengthen Tellurians reputation. Including but not limited to Performance Review Process, Investigations, Disciplinary Actions, Terminations, as well as working with legal counsel as needed. Coaches and Provides Guidance to supervisors as well as develops Supervisory Best Practices Development and Maintenance of s and Performance Evaluation Systems Establish policies that promote company culture and vision. Researches, Selects, Updates, and Administers Company's Benefit Programs and Manages Employee Leave Process (FMLA and Workers Compensation) Responsible for Employee Communications and Engagement (E-mails, Notifications, Newsletter, Employee Handbook, Employee Survey, Holiday Party, Employee Appreciation Day, etc.) Manages Training System and Facilitates On-boarding and Respectful Workplace Training, and other training on an as needed basis. Researches, Selects, Updates, and Administers Companys Benefit Programs Works with the HR Generalist in processing daily changes within the HRIS system and completing semi-monthly payroll Management of Employee Leave Process (FMLA and Workers Compensation) Ensures Legal Compliance and Reporting on all HR Related Activities. (Employment Laws, EEOC, OSHA, responding to Government-required reports, etc.) Support Program Leadership in budget alignment and growth strategies. Support CEO in business development and brand management. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field OR 5 years of related work experience, required Experience managing the employee leave process and benefit administration, required Management experience and SHRM Certification, preferred Human Services/Non-Profit experience, preferred Strong ethical leadership abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills The company has reviewed this to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
