Deliver routes daily. Will report to 1 of our 5 BDL locations and be a liaison between BDL staff, Independent Contractors and District Managers. Update lists and maintain changes. Assist BDL workers in staging papers. Train quality independent contractors as assigned by District Managers. Ensure customer/subscriber service and satisfaction levels are met or exceeded. Conducts route audits to verify accuracy of carrier delivery lists. Responsible for supporting single copy sales. Ensures customer/subscriber satisfaction with delivery of all products Works with other staff members to improve efficiency. Directly supports the district manager staff in achieving all subscriber and carrier-based goals. In addition to the responsibilities above, this is a constantly changing work environment and this position will require other duties assigned by management within reason. Working Conditions: 30-40% of duties will be completed in a Warehouse environment. 60-70% of duties will be completed while driving your personal vehicle. Duties are expected to be competed in all weather conditions. Professionalism and SPC's code of conduct policies must be followed at all times while on the clock. STN24 Requirements Work experience in Circulation, Distribution or Retail areas is helpful, but willing to train. Experience delivering newspapers is valuable, but willing to train. Forward thinking, anticipates opportunities and situations and looks for ways to improve the team and its outputs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently. Must be outgoing, team-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with others. A good motor vehicle report, valid driver's license, dependable automobile, and liability insurance are required.
