Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Service Provider is responsible for providing support, guidance, and direction to members attending Community or Center-Based programs. Direct Care Providers offer MIKID licensable services to primary caregivers while supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of members and their families. Services may be provided in the child's home, a licensed facility, or in the community.
Candidates for this position should have a High School degree or equivalent and be at least 21 years old in accordance with medical licensing regulations. Additionally, one year of experience in behavioral health or childcare is required. Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential. Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the behavioral health field and those who demonstrate bilingualism. Candidates should also possess CPR/First Aid Certification and a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or have the ability to obtain one. A valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration are necessary. Completion of all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior to providing services is also required.
