The OR Aide works the supervision of the Surgical Services Managers and Supervisors. The OR Aide assists with room turnover between patients, terminal room cleaning when cases are completed, cleaning and disinfecting of equipment used throughout the day. Other duties include ordering and stocking supplies for the department that are stored within other areas of the hospital. Obtaining and preparing beds for inpatients as well as the transporting of specimens when needed. May cross-train to other areas assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cleans and prepares OR suites and equipment. Inventories, orders, and maintains supplies in all designated areas.
