Essential Job Duties
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Assist students with assigned work, either individually or in small groups.
Assist in administering CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System) tests to students.
Assist in the collection and maintenance of required student records, attendance, test scores, and achievement records.
Assist the instructor in promoting intercultural awareness and sensitivity in the classroom.
Provide feedback to the instructor regarding student needs or classroom conditions.
Screen students for eligibility of other possible services (Workforce Education Services [WES], Viking Food Pantry, etc.)
Attend all required training and meetings.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum & Desirable Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 years of age.
High school graduate or GED required.
Organizational skills.
Strong basic math skills.
Previous experience working with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
