OneSource Global Tax System Analyst - Full-Time - New Jersey
We are seeking an experienced OneSource Global Tax System Analyst with a strong background in SAP COE (Center of Excellence) to join our team in New Jersey. This role will focus on the implementation, configuration, and support of Thomson Reuters OneSource tax solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP and other financial systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in indirect tax compliance, automation, and system optimization, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and maintain OneSource Global Tax solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP COE and other ERP systems.
Support end-to-end tax processes, including indirect tax determination, compliance, reporting, and automation.
Collaborate with finance, tax, and IT teams to identify requirements and develop system enhancements to improve tax reporting and compliance.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to tax calculations and reporting in SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
Work closely with SAP COE team to optimize tax configurations, maintain tax rates, and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
Assist in data migration, reconciliation, and validation efforts for tax-related transactions.
Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials for tax-related functionalities.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource (Global Tax, Determination, or Compliance).
Strong SAP experience, particularly in SAP COE and its integration with tax solutions.
In-depth understanding of indirect tax processes, VAT, GST, sales & use tax, and compliance reporting.
Experience in configuring and optimizing OneSource for tax automation and reporting.
Ability to analyze tax data and troubleshoot system issues within SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
Strong knowledge of ERP tax determination, exemption certificate management, and tax jurisdiction setup.
Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a large enterprise SAP COE environment.
Familiarity with tax compliance regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Vertex, or other tax automation tools.
Prior experience with SOX compliance and tax audits.
