Opens building at start of business day; secures building and activates outside lights and alarm system at end of business day. Supervises activities of volunteers and community service workers assigned to Parks & Recreation Department. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS May plan, coordinate and instruct classes in various arts and crafts, as qualifications allow. May fill in for the Park Ranger during vacations, emergency situations or vacancies. Cleans and performs minor maintenance at the Community Center, Parks, ballfields, basketball courts and other recreation facilities; such as sweeping, mopping, empty trash receptacles and pick up debris, etc.; arranges activity rooms for various meetings as needed. Examinations are performed mainly Monday through Friday with some Saturday and occasional Sunday examinations. * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION * Registered Nurses with active and unrestricted license in the state of operation * BA/BS Degree preferred EXPERIENCE * One (1) year of experience in long term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any age * Ideal candidate may possess staff development and/or training experience, preferred SKILLS * Intermediate to Advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing) * Strong communication skills (oral and written) * Access to personal computer equipment (i.e. personal computer/laptop, printer, etc.) * Must have a valid Drivers License and vehicle to travel to test events * Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills * Must be proactive, flexible, amicable and able to solve problems independently.
