ABOUT THE FACILITY
The Fond du Lac campus will have emergency care, 10 inpatient beds, and 24/7 coverage with board-certified emergency medicine physicians. For patients requiring additional care, observation and tests, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, x-ray, and ultrasound services will be provided.

Key Accountabilities
Utilizes the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and specific competencies to assess the physical condition and nursing needs of patients, and develops a plan of care in a collaborative practice with the patient and interprofessional team.
Plans for the care needs of the patient in collaboration with the interprofessional team to provide the highest quality of care and clinical outcomes.
Demonstrates clinical expertise in the provision of care in the clinical specialty assigned, and performs all functions of the professional clinical nurse (RN), which are age appropriate, developmentally sensitive, and culturally specific.
Identifies ways to improve the patient's experience of care, streamline care processes, and lower costs while promoting quality to improve patient, family, and team member satisfaction.
Contributes to a professional environment that encourages mentoring, engagement, and development to retain expert clinicians.

Qualifications
Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years. Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted in lieu of BSN for those hired prior to 1/23/17.
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
Medical / Surgical Departments - Critical Access Hospitals: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications

Healthcare and/or customer service experience
Preferred

The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for the position of a Limited Term Engineering Aide. This limited term full-time position reports directly to the City Engineer and will perform work in the field and the office in conjunction with various municipal (civil) engineering projects. It is anticipated that this work will be 40 hours per week for the months of May through August.
Various duties and responsibilities include assisting with inspection on City construction projects, including underground construction, street maintenance and sidewalk program; along with working with Engineers and Engineering Technicians on reports, computations, and field design adjustments.
Qualifications include: knowledge of the technical methods and practices of civil engineering and surveying; along with the ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public.
Requirements include graduation from high school or equivalent; excellent communication skills; technical training and/or relevant experience in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or public works construction is desired. Knowledge of land surveying equipment is a plus.
