A combined total of 46 inpatient beds exist across Intensive, Medicine and Geriatric Psych units. The Psychiatric Medicine unit offers a unique opportunity to work in an environment that combines medical and Psychiatry. Intensive Psych allows our team to work with those who are acutely ill. The Geriatric unit is for those who truly have a passion for the elderly population in Psych. The team in Psychiatry is a well-rounded group caring for patients with a wide range of Psychiatric illnesses. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs. Recreation Aide - Concessions (MFAC) Reports To: Aquatics Manager, Aquatics Supervisor, Aquatics Assistant, Pool Manager, Assistant Pool Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The seasonal part-time Recreation Aide is responsible for concession food service, operations of the outdoor pool. Must be able to operate computer software system for point of sales, credit card machines and any financial transactions that occur, which includes balancing and closing register drawers. Position requires strong customer service skills, food handling and preparation, assist in cleaning and preparing area for day to day operation and and other duty assignments. Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old. Currently enrolled or have graduated from high school or GED program. Customer service experience preferred.
