Collaborate to review student math improvement plans for incoming students identified with a mathematics deficiency. Prepare for intervention and show written evidence of preparation upon request. Deliver explicit and systematic instruction, in a small group format, that is differentiated, targeted, and designed to accelerate the most struggling of students with specific math deficiencies in lowest deficit skills. Monitor progress regularly, maintaining accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, board policy, and administrative regulation. Serve as a resource or make referrals as appropriate. Assist with school-wide testing programs, including screening for dyscalculia. Participate as a valued faculty member, maintaining professional and cooperative relationships with teachers, students, and the community. Make reasonable provision for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day. Perform other related duties during school necessary to the safe and effective operation of the school when requested by the principal. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills Completing a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Current CPR certification. Moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is involved with customers, and customer representatives, family members, residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors. Communicate with the designated facility staff, nursing personnel, residents, or family members. Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. Is subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
