Early College Aide (ECA) Malden High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early College Aide (ECA) to support the Early College Program. This role is essential in helping students navigate the challenges of college-level coursework while fostering their academic growth, self-confidence, and readiness for future college and career success. Position Overview: The Early College Aide will work closely with students and staff, providing supervision and support as students complete college courses through Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) during the MHS school day. The role includes tracking student progress, facilitating study groups, assisting with assignments, and collaborating with program staff to address academic, attendance, and social-emotional needs. Time Commitment: * Approximately 19 hours per week for up to 20 weeks (Semester 2) * Monday-Thursday Program Goal: The Early College Program aims to bridge the gap between high school, college, and career by empowering students to take ownership of their future. Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 can participate at no cost, including free classes, textbooks, and materials. Through the partnership with BHCC, students earn college credits and develop professional and practical skills.
