Recreation Aide Reports to the Recreation Supervisor and is an hourly, non-exempt position. Directs trainees in leisure- time recreation/non-vocational activities and leadership programs. At times, may drive the students on trips/events. • Certified to provide swim lessons and swimming certifications for Centers with pools. • Assists with Water Safety programming (videos, swimming certification and swim lessons} and CIS documentation- if applicable. • Coach intramural and/or varsity teams engaged in Center activities. • Instructs trainees in fitness and weight training programs.
