Serves customers at concession counter. Receives and disburses cash. Prepares and handles food. Stocks concession products. Performs basic equipment maintenance. Supervises children, organizes and leads games and assists with class instruction. Officiates or keeps score for sports activities. Performs basic custodial duties. Sets up and takes down building furnishings and arrangements. Completion of work assignments may require operation of a vehicle. These examples are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other job-related duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements of Work Knowledge of basic functions of arithmetic. Ability to count money and make change; and use a computer to access, interpret and record information. Ability to accept and respond to a steady volume of requests for information and/or service, both in person and over the telephone. Ability to lift and carry stacks of boxes or other loads weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to teach students who have a wide variety of experience and aptitude. Ability to communicate orally clearly and effectively. Able to maintain effective working relationships with associates, participants and the public. Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Kansas Driver's License. An employee will not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace. Required Experience and Training Required Experience and Training Must be at least 16 years of age, or 18 years of age, dependent upon assignment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship. Preferred Experience and Training Some experience in a customer service or retail environment. Previous cash handling experience. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug screening, and upon satisfactory evaluation of a criminal record check.
