Minimum Qualifications
Entry-level position where on the job training is provided. Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions and to keep accurate records is required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required. General knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment and terminology as well as the ability to operate and care for laboratory equipment along with the knowledge of appropriate specimen handling techniques preferred or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). A valid Utah's Driver's License and the ability to single-handedly lift and transport items as heavy as 75lbs is required. This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work.
