JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Required: May be a graduate of either an accredited school of nursing with advanced preparation as a Nurse Practitioner or a physician assistant education program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Minimum Work Experience Preferred: NP must have a minimum of three years of professional nursing experience as a registered nurse in a clinic setting, plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. PA must have a minimum of two years of physician assistant experience Required Licenses: NP - Wyo RN with State of Wyoming certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. PA - State of Wyoming license and passing Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). Current DEA and controlled substance license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS. FUNCTIONAL DEMANDS Working Conditions Hospital based outpatient department, frequent interruptions, sometimes stressful environment. Combination of exam rooms and medical offices. Recreation Service Aide DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Recreation Services Aide assists the Activities Coordinator to provide group and individual activities for the residents. Duties will involve personal contact with a varying resident population and a varied work schedule that may include some weekends, evenings and holidays.
