Reporting to the Director of Business and Organization Communications, the person selected for this role will be responsible for supporting ACG's communications objectives by highlighting various elements, including strategies, change management initiatives and team success stories to inform, engage, and inspire ACG employees - and to tell ACG's story externally.

Develop creative and informative content across a variety of platforms to support executive and ACG communications designed to influence and support key business objectives.
Understand the strategic objectives for the organization and develop materials that are conveyed in the voice of its leadership.
Develop and deliver internal communications plans for critical ACG projects.
At times, develop and deliver external communications plans for ACG's senior leaders.
Coordinate with other Enterprise Communications team members to deliver content and programs to meet program objectives and timelines.
Cross-functional collaboration with various leads to deliver a consistent approach representative of Agilent's brand and ACG's strategic vision.
Drive communications initiatives to deliver maximum impact coordinated with companywide events or initiatives and linked to important public relations and media events.
Collaborate with others to design and maintain the ACG SharePoint site for effective communication and collaboration.
Develop PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, and other written materials to support ACG. This may also include Q&A documents, website content, fact sheets, and other materials.
Explore and execute novel approaches to drive employee engagement and enhanced brand activation. Examples include the creative use of video, design elements, infographics, and other new tools and media content.
Handling highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis with the utmost discretion.
Ability to build relationships and quickly understand the organization to ensure effective collaboration, while also being able to solve problems independently.
Providing regular communications updates for operational, executive, and ad hoc reviews.
Successfully measure the progress, results, and impact of communications efforts.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within a large organization.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in creating content for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

Position Objectives

The Research Associate will plan and execute experiments to develop IHC, FISH, and other assays in Companion Diagnostics. They will work closely with cross-functional project teams, manufacturing, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs IHC and FISH scoring on tissue samples from various cancer types.
Determines and develops approaches to assignments
Leads development of Companion Diagnostic projects requiring collaboration with team members, other functions, suppliers, and external partners (example, as a Design Responsible for multiple projects).

Portfolio assessments and presentations - Manage and communicate portfolio dynamics (risk, value, mix, competitive positioning etc.) to inform molecule or portfolio decisions and strategy updates. Develop portfolio content and actionable insights presented to Executive Leadership (e.g., Board of Directors, CEC, LSPC, PDLT, Therapeutic Area or Franchise heads etc).
Decision support and valuation - Active thought partner to teams and decision-makers including, but not limited to defining/scoping of tactics to deliver on defined portfolio and business strategies; content expertise to develop strategic options and valuations / cases; trade-off analysis, and/or decision framing including portfolio context

You have a Bachelor's degree in science, business, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree and/or certification (e.g. MBA, PhD, PharmD, MS, MPH) preferred.
Experience in portfolio management and strategy development.
Strong drug development understanding, along with planning and organizational skills.
Demonstrated thought partnership and/or ability to influence Senior Leaders (VP, SVP, or above) on complex topics, including framing, decision support, and options analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication, proven ability to build trusting relationships with and influence leaders at all levels.
Ability to navigate within a changing organization, maintaining objectivity, respect for differences of opinion, and proven ability to question and challenge in a constructive manner.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $187,800.00 - $348,800.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
