Position Objective Welcome and assist guests entering the zoo with ticket purchases and associated admissions requirements Principal Responsibilities * Facilitate admissions process for arriving guests in accordance with WCS established policies and procedures. * Actively promote and inform guests about Admissions and Membership options. * Aid, help and inform the public regarding the zoological park, its animals, exhibits, guest amenities, and park policies. * Adhere to all established policies and procedures for cash handling (e.g. counting banks at the start and reconciling at the end of shifts) and credit card processing. * Adhere to all safety/security procedures in areas where cash is maintained/handled (e.g. keep admissions booths locked/secure at all times, use of drops/drop safes, keeping cash out of sight). * Provide consistently excellent customer service to zoo guests.
