Compensation Details
LMFT, LCSW, LPC: $70 per hourly session (53-minutes)
Licensed Psychologist: $80 per hourly session (53-minutes)
Guaranteed payment every two weeks via direct deposit

Coordinates and executes various student performance presentations focusing on the Arapaho language and culture.
Provides cultural educational support to classroom teachers and instructional staff when appropriate.

Assists in implementing Arapaho language and culture learning opportunities for students in both academic and non-academic areas.
Coordinates with teachers in all grade-levels age-appropriate methods of integrating Arapaho culture and language in every-day classroom instructions.
Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff and/or parent/guardian in any public setting and chooses the appropriate time, place and supervisor to discuss issues or concerns.
Uses positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills when working with students, parents, and all district personnel at all times.
Seek opportunities to develop Arapaho language skills outside of the District using competition and other methods of facilitating learning.
Coordinate periodic cultural sensitivity training for District staff.
Collaborate with community elder organizations to develop learning opportunities with the District students and staff and District community.

The Family Engagement Specialist will work remotely and be willing to travel as required. Candidates for this role must reside in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah or Wyoming.
How You Contribute to the Team:
* Serve as a liaison between the OHS and the National Center responsible for parent, family and community engagement.
* Provide subject matter expertise, strategies, and resources to Regional Office and TTA staff on

* Serve as a member of a national peer group of Family Engagement Specialists from each of the twelve regions.

What You Bring to the Table:

Head Start is a nationwide comprehensive child development program serving pregnant women, eligible children from birth to five years old, and their families. The FDA Center for Tobacco Products requires the assistance of minors ages 16-17 and those under age 18-20 to attempt the purchase of tobacco products from local tobacco retailers. The goal of the program is to ensure tobacco retailers are complying with Federal laws and regulations that prevent them from selling tobacco products to minors. This will be a part-time, position working outside school hours and on some weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· The Youth Participant will always be supervised and monitored by an FDA Commissioned Inspector during their work shift.
· The Youth Participant will receive training prior to conducting any purchase attempts.
· The Youth Participant will be driven to and from the tobacco retailer locations by the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
· The Youth Participant will attempt to purchase a tobacco product per the procedures provided within their training and the instructions provided by the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
· After the purchase attempt, the Youth Participant will leave the tobacco retailer with or without a purchased item.
· Purchased items will be immediately turned over to the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Age: Must be between 16 - 20 yrs and 10 months of age
