The Behavioral Health Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, clinical and/or administrative supervision, and monitoring of a Behavioral Health delivery system meeting NCCHC/ACA standards. Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional
manner. Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to psychiatric staff.
Coordinates the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COORDINATOR REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.

This is a part-time opportunity with a flexible schedule that requires you be on campus 3 days a week. Our school is open Monday - Friday from 8:30-5, you would be able to let us know your hours of availability and we would create a schedule around what works for you. No lesson planning, grading, or administrative duties outside of the school. There is no cap on hours and ideally we'd like someone to be available at least 15 hours a week.
The Special Education Administrator will be held accountable for the following responsibilities:
Facilitate the provision of special education services to students that are placed with Brightmont from a district.
Understands and support teachers on effective instructional strategies for students with disabilities
Assist in monitoring special education programs and related services to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and local district policies and procedures
Analyze data to establish appropriate goals and objectives in context of improving academic achievement and social-emotional growth

The Crime Victim Advocate links Project UJIMA clients to ongoing violence intervention and prevention services. * Support the creation and facilitation of the CCOP Advisory Committee with input from supervisors, community members, and professionals. * Serve as an advocate and collaborate with county programs and community resources to coordinate services that are outcome based. Identify appropriate referrals for children and their families based on needs.

Work with clients to develop a personal safety plan while the offender is incarcerated or out-of-custody.
-Assess client's emergency needs and help them access resources available through Sojourner Family Peace Center, the law enforcement system, the court systems (criminal and civil), the DOC system and within the community.
-Complete intakes with clients to help identify individual needs and assist with the development of a personal action plan built on formal/informal supports and community resources outlining goals and expectations. Utilize independent critical skills to identify additional challenges such as AODA and mental health issues that can present at varying levels of severity.
-Give support as needed for client follow up and ongoing support for cases meeting the criteria for staffing by the High Risk Team.
-Must possess basic knowledge of de-escalation techniques and ability to demonstrate when necessary.
-Have working knowledge and ability to perform Danger Assessment, LAP and other relevant screening tools.
-Know community resources throughout Milwaukee County and maintain active connections to them.

MENTAL HEALTH COORDINATOR POSITION SUMMARY
The Behavioral Health Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, clinical and/or administrative supervision, and monitoring of a Behavioral Health delivery system meeting NCCHC/ACA standards. The Behavioral Health Coordinator works with the Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director, and Psychiatrist to coordinate total contract services.
MENTAL HEALTH COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of
required clinical services for inmates.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional
manner. Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to psychiatric staff.
Coordinates the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
MENTAL HEALTH COORDINATOR REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed (or license eligible with application pending) to practice psychology or social work in the state where services are being delivered.
Satisfactory background investigation report.
