Your Role as a BCBA:
In this role, you'll oversee clinical services across various settings (clinic, home, community) and provide guidance to RBTs. You'll ensure treatment plans are tailored to client goals while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage exceptional ABA services to clients and families to improve cognitive, social, and self-help skills

This position works to preserve and/or rehabilitate families while protecting children's physical, emotional, and mental well-being through child protection, adolescent services, placements, and/or permanency plans. Based on position assignment, coordinates the practice and is responsible for primary decision-making of child protection practices or coordinates the services and secondary-service decisions as related to safety, permanency, well-being and preserving families. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
* Interviews clients and develops appropriate treatment plans; initiates and/or participates in home studies, and provides intensive casework services to families and children; investigates allegations of child abuse and assesses imminent danger for children; makes referrals to community resources and collateral contacts.
* Monitors and reports clients' progress and provides service recommendations/referrals. Ensures that needed services are being provided, that treatment plans are being followed through in a timely manner and determines the appropriateness of the placement and services provided.
* Addresses child safety issues in the home to mitigate safety concerns; ensures that children in the department's custody or supervision receive necessary interventions.
* Provides crisis management and coordinates support services for clients to resolve problems and conflicts.
* Acts as a liaison for the DHS and consults with other caseworkers and community professionals on case situations, treatment/case plans, issues, and problems.
* Provides casework and assessment services for teams within the Practice Unit.
* Attends and testifies in court hearings and mediations as needed; completes appropriate paperwork, documentation, reports, reviews, etc. for court hearings monitors clients' compliance with court orders; serves temporary custody notices and petitions the court for verbal orders.
* Prepares for and participates in meetings and staffings.
* Documents all contacts and ensures that all paperwork and documentation are accurately completed and filed; completes necessary case information reports, inputs updates into database.
* Arranges and provides transportation for clients to appointments, therapy, school, court hearings, pre-placement visits, etc.
* Ensures compliance with Federal, State and County laws, outcome measures, rules, and regulations; reviews cases to ensure case plans are developed and implemented.
* Provides support to Practice and Support and Services teams within the CYFS Division as needed.
* Collects and reports statistics and data on unit and outcomes and performances.
* Facilitates meetings as needed.
* Performs other duties as required.

May be exposed to hostile family situations/individuals, and unsanitary and hazardous conditions. Summary of the position:
This position exists to provide mental health/crisis management services for a caseload of DYS committed youth. DYS committed youth often have behavioral and/or psychiatric problems resulting from trauma-related issues such as neglect, abuse, or severe family problems. This position provides individual, group and family services to this population. This position uses Evidence Based Curricula in working with this population. It provides approved treatment services to youth who have engaged in delinquent behaviors, in a secure state operated treatment facility. This position provides treatment planning, individual, family and group counseling, ongoing assessment, case management, record keeping, and service coordination in conjunction with a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) responsible for the overall treatment, supervision and transition of the youth. These youth often have behavioral and psychiatric issues resulting from trauma related exposure such as neglect, abuse or severe family problems. This position completes an integrated and comprehensive strength-based treatment plan and provides expertise in the area of mental health, co-occurring, special needs and family issues. This position utilizes the Colorado Juvenile Risk Assessment and other validated assessment tools to address criminogenic risk factors and what is driving underlying behavior by using a strength-based approach and a youth's protective factors and resources. This position utilizes a case conceptualization model which gathers the facts about the youth, determines needs, identifies strengths and develops treatment plans. Within the first 30 days of a youth's arrival, this position thoroughly assesses youth's treatment needs by reviewing the youth's main and medical files and making initial and collateral contacts as appropriate. Collaborate and coordinate treatment needs of youth with DYS client manager, and assessment services to match treatment with estimated length of stay and client need, within 30 days of admission. Interviews the resident ensuring assessment data is reliable as possible, that the resident is engaged in a supportive and educative manner, that confidentiality is maximized, and that problematic symptoms and behaviors are thoroughly evaluated and handled in a sensitive and safe manner. Contacts/engages parents/family members, significant others, guardians, and referring agents to interview and obtain relevant collateral and supportive data to enhance the understanding and dynamics of the youth's situation. Collaborates and coordinates with direct staff, education, client manager, youth, and other pertinent treatment team members in the development of a treatment service plan. Conducts treatment needs include substance abuse, mental health issues, trauma histories, cognitive limitations, offense specific services for sexually abusive or violent youth. Documents the youth's response to specific interventions toward meeting the objectives and goals of treatment plan. General Description:
Provide coordination of services to persons with disabilities through administrative support functions for the entire organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide a courteous, professional contact for the site. Refer calls to appropriate agencies, if needed. Use discretion in screening all calls.
Process correspondence, mail, and information in a timely manner (within 48 hours) ensuring distribution to all necessary departments.
Professionally type letters for the Navigation and Quality and Service Coordination teams and distribute as needed and requested.
Send termination Notices according to regulation.
Accurately complete tracking of work processed for use by Service Coordination staff.
Provide support to the Service Coordination and Navigation and Quality Directors as requested.

Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Duties & Responsibilities
Independently conduct regular home visits for the assigned caseload to:
Provide individualized parent education
Supervise the implementation of the program
Monitor the completion of all necessary documentation
Provide in-field training to each direct report

Efficiently and effectively communicating CSD's policies to families

Meet daily and monthly billable hours goal as set by CSD.
Provide clinical support and training to assigned team of Clinical Leaders and Behavior Specialists by:
Holding monthly 1:1 and team meetings and appropriate trainings
Creating individualized clinical trainings
Facilitating and completing trainings as assigned by the Regional Director
Assuring that supervisees' clinical responsibilities are defined and understood as deemed by CSD's Commitment to Quality Standards.
Evaluating clinical performance of supervisees and communicating concerns to the assigned Regional Director
Maintaining and documenting appropriate progress notes for supervision hours
Supervise and guide staff/supervisees with all clinical processes including but not limited to:
Behavioral support plans
Assessments
Submission of monthly session plans
Maintenance of monthly log of lesson plans
Completion of clinical reports and data collection
Maintain regular communication with Human Resources and the Regional Director regarding administrative concerns involving clients, Behavior Specialists, and/or Clinical Directors.

Two years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting
Proven successful experiences with a full ABA caseload
Knowledgeable of methodologies found to benefit children with autism spectrum disorders, including Applied
Behavioral Analysis (“ABA”), Early Start Denver Model (“ESDM”), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-Handicapped Children (“TEACCH”), Picture Exchange Communication System (“PECS”), and Pivotal Response Training (“PRT”).
Knowledgeable of School Continuum of Services and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
