Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients.
Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups.
Responsible for weekly summaries of assigned clients.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
As needed, transport clients to and from GTS program in agency provided vehicle.

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This position reports to the CAC/LCRC Coordinator. This position has the general responsibility for providing direct services to survivors and secondary survivors of sexual assault/abuse. This includes during exams, forensic interviews, scheduled appointments, and our 24-hour hotline and on-call schedule. This position is responsible for providing services that meet the needs of survivors (both children and adults), constituents, and the community in compliance with program standards.

Direct Service: Responsibilities include providing crisis intervention, support, psychoeducation, referral and linkage to community resources and advocacy to survivors and secondary survivors of sexual assault/abuse of all ages. These services are provided during forensic exams, forensic interviews (both on and off-site), and scheduled appointments. Is also responsible for adhering to strict confidentiality and anonymity when dealing with clients/ survivors.
Legal Education/Advocacy: will provide support to survivors during interviews, court hearings, and throughout the legal process. Will provide education on the court process/legal proceedings, their rights and responsibilities and linkage to Victims Compensation, VINE, etc.
Advocacy on the 24 - hour hotline: will provide advocacy on the hotline and perform on-call duties. Note: this position does require availability for on-call.
Case Coordination: Responsibilities include working within a multi-disciplinary team, case tracking and documentation, and referral and linkage to community resources.
Support Groups: Responsibilities include scheduling, screening, coordination of curriculum, and the facilitation of support groups for survivors of sexual assault.
Prison Outreach: Responsibilities include keeping current on inmates' rights and responsibilities, attending facility meetings and coordination of services.
Other Duties as Assigned - Community Education: will facilitate prevention curriculums.

In order to perform the essential functions of this job, after an orientation period, the employee must possess the following: a working knowledge of Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Policy and Procedures, including sensitivity and adherence to clients' rights, confidentiality, and health and safety issues. Must exhibit sensitivity to different cultures and must demonstrate an understanding of the intersection of gender, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, or other identity factors in issues of sexual violence.
WORKING CONDITIONS
A great deal of time is spent in an office environment or presenting before large groups.
The employee will have frequent client contact either in person or on the phone and will represent Sexual Assault Services and Riveon Mental Health and Recovery in the community.
The employee must have good speaking and language skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors in Social Work or related field required.
An Associate's Degree in Social Work or related field may be considered with previous work experience working children and/or adults who have experienced sexual assault/abuse.
Strong written and oral skills are necessary.
Must be able to work well under pressure and demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
Certification through the Ohio Advocate Network preferred.
Previous crisis intervention and diversity training desired.
The necessity for travel requires that the employee possess a valid Ohio driver's license, have proof of automobile insurance, and use of a personal vehicle.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field (or 5+ years of experience).
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience; residential setting experience preferred.
Strong skills in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.
Valid Ohio driver's license and insurability; ability to pass background checks (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation).
Role and Responsibilities
Supervise and train shelter staff, ensuring program goals and grant requirements are met.
Develop, implement, and evaluate shelter policies, procedures, and goals in collaboration with leadership.
Provide case management and intake services, assisting survivors with goal setting, housing options, and access to resources.
Create and deliver trauma-informed, culturally inclusive programming on life skills, financial literacy, parenting, and resilience.
Collaborate with local service providers and participate in management and community meetings.
Support day-to-day operations, including hotline coverage, shelter safety, and conflict resolution.
Oversees shelter donations regarding organizing, inventory, distributing, and communicating the current needs
Maintain accurate documentation, compile monthly reports, and ensure compliance with agency standards.
Adheres to Service Excellence standards at all times.
Represents Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center by participating in community activities, coalitions, and taskforce groups as requested or assigned by supervisor.
Complies with agency policies and procedures, federal and state requirements, CARF standards and educational/certification/registry requirements.

As a Behavior Specialist, you will guide and assist with our school-wide/classroom implementation of the positive behavior support program, increasing positive student behaviors. This position always focuses first on proactive strategies when working with challenging behaviors and is immediately available to respond to crisis situations with the ability to de-escalate students using CPI strategies, behavioral contracts and interventions documented in student's behavioral intervention plan, if applicable.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
* Implementing individual, group, or systems-level intervention to promote positive academic, social/emotional, behavioral, and independent outcomes.
* Reinforcing appropriate student behavior and redirecting negative behaviors. Modeling these strategies for all staff.
* Maintaining and updating records related to the development and implementation of student behavior strategies (SBS) or BIPs.
* Collecting and charting behavioral data for the purpose of progress monitoring and supporting IEP teams in informing instruction.
* Providing support to teachers and classroom staff in monitoring individual student behavior and class wide behavior management systems.
