This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful chemical supplier focused on selling raw material chemicals to a general industrial manufacturing market. Some of the key markets for this territory are General Manufacturing, Coatings, Adhesives, Lubricants, and Industrial Processing. This is an exciting, fast-paced, and lucrative sales position. Overnight travel should be minimal ~10%.
Responsibilities: Manage and aggressively grow an existing territory and account base. Sell a broad range of commodity chemicals, and some specialty chemicals, to a general industrial manufacturing market in the territory (upper half of Ohio). The business requires selling mainly on a commercial level to purchasing, operations, and sometimes laboratory personnel. Prospect for and develop new opportunities at existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts. Manage pricing, trouble shooting, new product introductions, etc. Communicate effectively with management, suppliers, and customers. Develop and execute the sales strategy for the territory.
Requirements: 3+ years of chemical industry sales experience, or related industrial sales experience. Sales experience in the chemical distribution industry is a plus. You will perform various sales and administrative tasks to assist our store operations and work primarily with our executive team members to contribute to a first-class experience for all our customers.

Compensation Disclosure
