    New York University School of Law seeks applicants to join our dynamic clinical teaching community as a two-year clinical teaching fellowship. This Fellowship commences during the summer of 2025 and ends during the summer of 2027. It is designed for lawyers with at least three years of practice who are considering a career in law school teaching. The fellow will work with the Community Equity Lab, which works with communities and community-based institutions to build a community-centered vision of justice, and the tools necessary to achieve it, through litigation and advocacy, and the Immigrant Rights Clinic, which engages in direct legal representation of immigrants and community organizations in litigation and in immigrant rights campaigns. Responsibilities include (i) supervising law students in related matters and serving as a mentor and role model to law students in the clinic and lab; (ii) helping to design and teach clinic seminar classes; (iii) sharing in the administrative responsibilities of the courses; and (iv) working on independent advocacy initiatives. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Applicants should also have a commitment to working collaboratively with law students. In compliance with New York City's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $110,000. SEEDS works with competitive, primarily independent, secondary schools to provide opportunities for highly motivated, academically qualified, and economically disadvantaged students. The College Scholars Program was announced in April 2015 as an immersion experience designed to reach three times as many students in a wider geographic area than SEEDS' existing high school academic initiative. College Scholars participate in academic classes each Saturday during the spring of students' eleventh-grade year, and throughout the twelfth-grade. In addition, students take part in a three-week residential session during the summer before their senior year in high school. Throughout the 17-month program, College Scholars receive intensive academic, college application, and social supports so that they can be accepted to and succeed in highly competitive colleges and universities. POSITIONS We are currently seeking instructors for the College 101 course designed by SEEDS. In this course, professors focus on writing, college admissions, and life skills. A curriculum that with required readings, assessments, and assignments will be provided, but the teacher will have considerable liberty to teach in her/his own way. The School of Health Sciences, Human Services and Nursing currently includes six departments: Exercise Science and Recreation; Health Promotion and Nutrition Sciences; Health Equity, Administration & Technology; Social Work; Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and Nursing. The school is also home to the CUNY Institute for Health Equity. Departments in the School actively engage with community and government partners to support evidence-based practices and health equity, with a special emphasis on urban populations. The Department of Nursing is seeking a senior faculty member to serve at the rank of full professor and as the Department Chair beginning Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. The successful candidate is expected to participate fully in the life of the Department of Nursing, College, and University including teaching, committee work, obtaining grants, publishing in refereed professional journals, and contributing generally to the intellectually vibrant environment of the Department of Nursing. The teaching load is 18 credit hours over a 9-month appointment for a regular professorial faculty appointment; however, the chair will receive substantial release time in order to fully oversee the operation of the department of nursing. Lehman College and CUNY internal funding is available through competitive grants for scholarship and professional development support. QUALIFICATIONS Ph.D., EdD., DNS degree with experience in Nursing or related discipline or a related academic field is required on commencement of the appointment.
