Plan and schedule and conduct sales calls with all required customer/stakeholder levels (C-level, Directors, Physicians, etc.) based on the Sales process to close business opportunities.
Coordinate product demonstrations with Product Specialists and all Siemens/customer stakeholders.
Participate in proposal development and/or the RFP process-providing information and input related to the sales situation as required.
Follow through to support customer credit approvals, quotations, and other documents that support the sale.
Communicate with Logistics (Project Managers) and Service (ASMs or CSEs) as needed to support the implementation phase of the sale.
Manage the Sales process including, prospecting, “greeting”, qualifying, presenting, handling objections, closing, implementing, and follow up.
Communicate key sales projections to sales management including: Accurate sales area forecasts and backup plans that sales management can roll up into Zone-level forecast and backup plans, a quarterly and annual (full Fiscal Year) focus of all projections, and other forecast activities as required including the Service Sales forecast.
Maintain a positive, high-profile image and solutions including: Develop and attending internal and external customer events and meetings, participate in professional associations and their events (AHA, RSNA, etc.), and maintaining professional relationships with consultants, vendors, etc.
Perform administrative duties and maintain records in a timely manner, including-expense reports, monthly reports, internal communications, vendor credentialing, etc.
Attend meetings called by Siemens and sales management, including sharing of “best practices” with colleagues. Participate in scheduled Sales Training and Development sessions/activities.
Provide feedback to marketing stakeholders important to product development, modification, and/or planning-especially regarding marketability and salability solutions.
Participate in special projects or assist in training/mentoring of other AEs as directed by sales management.
