Since 1971, Acadian has been committed to providing the highest level of medical care and transportation possible. Today, we have ground and air ambulance facilities strategically located in areas across Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi, and offer safety and medical services to the energy industry around the world. Acadian comprises six divisions- Acadian Ambulance Service, Acadian Air Med, Acadian Total Security, National EMS Academy, Executive Air Charter and Safety Management Systems and has a variety of support departments.

Pros of working at Acadian Ambulance

The good reviews are a lie. This is a horrible company to work for. Their "money areas" are not Republican but you are constantly begged my the owner for money out of an already small paycheck to pay for his Republican friends.

There is a "family" culture here. The employees are driven by a desire to help others and I like that. Lots of career paths, too

Cons of working at Acadian Ambulance

Long hours for medics, but that's normal for this industry. They are trying to hire more EMTs and paramedics to help with staffing. That should relieve the overtime
